Another exciting day for the
leaders. The heat was blazing; finally matching up our energy and spirit we
have here at YLC! With water canteens by our side all day, we all survived the
day being hydrated and maintained our energy for a full day of activities,
classes and especially, another workshop from our guest speaker, David
Spiecker.
Spiecker, a social media savvy, showed how easy it is to
find someone on social media. Each of us was in awe by how much we could learn
from someone else through the Internet, especially all
the social media outlets. After his workshop, some of us jokingly
pledged that they would quit Facebook when they get back home from YLC!
Otherwise, all of us noted how important it is to be aware what is on our
social media pages because nothing is private on the Internet!
